The Storm Precipitation Analysis System (SPAS) is a state-of-the science hydrometeorological tool developed by AWA more than 20 years ago to characterize the magnitude, temporal, and spatial details of precipitation events in the most accurate manner possible. It is used in all PMP studies as well input for detail hydrological model analyses, forensic investigation and other aspects where highly accurate rainfall reconstructions are required.
