AWA has completed PMP and meteorological analyses for some of the most remote and complex mining operations in the world. These include Grasberg Mine in Indonesia, Antamina Mine in Peru, Cerro Verde Mine in Peru, El Abra Mine in Chile, Faro Mine in the Yukon Territories, and many in the United States. AWA analysis for mining operations have included development of PMP, precipitation frequency, IDF curves, Area Reduction Factors, rainfall temporal patterns, climate chain assessments, and other meteorological variables required to cover all aspects of mining operations, water management activities, closure conditions, and water balance analyses.
